    Restaurant Information
Restaurant / Dining Information  Cordillera offers four unique dining experiences: Restaurant Mirador (formerly Restaurant Picasso)tempts guests with light interpretations of European fare. Honored multiple times by Wine Spectator and by American Express with the prestigious DiRoNa award, this elegant gourmet restaurant is appreciated for its works of art for the palette. An extensive wine list with a focus on French and California labels combines with an innovative menu and breathtaking mountain vistas to create memorable occasions. Restaurant Mirador is open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Room service is also available. In addition to Restuarant Mirador is its Wine Cellar. The only one of its kind in the Vail Valley, is ideal for up to 11 guests. Grouse-on-the-Green gives patrons an authentic Irish pub-style experience. Serving as both an eatery and Clubhouse for The Short Course, its interior was designed and built in Ireland, then shipped to Cordillera for installation. Authentic to the core, Grouse-on-the-Green not only has the ambiance of a traditional pub, it has a menu that includes shepherd*s pies, pastries and, naturally, fish and chips. A festive place for golfers and non-golfers alike, it also offers cuisine with a Colorado spin, as well as a variety of microbrew beers. The Timber Hearth Grille is sought for its inspired American cuisine with a Western flair. Located in the Clubhouse at the Mountain Course, its three-story river rock fireplace, cozy furniture and picture windowns overlooking the golf course create just the right mood for an unforgettable visit. Horse drawn sleigh rides are available during the winter season. The Chaparral Restaurant boasts certified prime-aged Angus steaks and chops, as well as seafood, pasta, and vegeterian entrees. The mountain-casual eatery is frequented for its inviting decor and spectacular views over New York Mountain and the Sawatch Mountain Ranges. Cordillera restaurants are open on a seasonal basis; please check with the concierge for details.
